New 2008 Heavy Duty

Our 2008 Heavy Duty truck range remain largely unchanged from ADR80/00 models except for minor styling changes and new greener ADR80/02 compliant engine.

Of course this means all trucks have central locking, cruise control, CD player, climate control, and air suspended seat as standard, making the driver’s work environment as comfortable as possible.

Changes to new Heavy engines inlcude:

NEW Mitsubishi 6M70-6AT2 Diesel (ADR 80/02)

• Power (ECE R85-00): 257kW @ 2000 rpm (Previous Engine 257kW @ 2200 rpm)
• Torque (ECE R85-00): 1620Nm @ 1100 rpm (Previous Engine 1520Nm @ 1200 rpm)

Extra torque is especially noticeable at low speed (1000 – 1800 rpm range.) Driver should be able to feel difference between engines, especially at take-off.

NEW Mitsubishi 6M70-6AT4 Diesel (ADR 80/02)

• Power (ECE R85-00): 309kW @ 2000 rpm (Previous Engine 302kW @ 2200 rpm)
• Torque (ECE R85-00): 1770Nm @ 1100 rpm (Previous Engine 1765Nm @ 1200 rpm)

Improvements made to mid-range power of engine.

  • 20% increase in power over old model.
  • 16% increase in torque over old model.
