Gross Combined Mass (GCM) refers to the maximum combined mass of your loaded vehicle and the item you are pulling (trailer mass) together.

By subtracting tare weight from gross weight (laden weight), one can determine the weight of the goods carried or contained (the net weight).

In both road and rail vehicles, the wheelbase is the horizontal distance between the centers of the front and rear wheels.
