Electric Fuso eCanter wins TruckSales Innovation Award
The all-electric Fuso eCanter has been voted the winner of the 2022 TruckSales Innovation Award.
The TruckSales judges were impressed by the eCanter’s technological leadership, its strong performance and safety credentials.
As TruckSales editor, Geoff Middleton, wrote: "What really impressed us was the fact that the eCanter gets all the safety and technology that’s in the diesel version of the Canter."
The eCanter is the only electric truck available in Australia that features the Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS) and Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS).
Mr Middleton also wrote of the eCanter: "We drove a full production version in June and we were impressed by the performance, the quietness and the remarkable regenerative braking which can just about pull the vehicle up to a standstill without using the service brakes."
