Fuso has rocked the Japanese heavy-duty truck segment with the Australian launch of the powerful Shogun 510. Specially developed for Australia, the range-topping Shogun packs a mountainous 2500Nm of torque and 510 horsepower, thanks to an advanced Daimler-sourced 13-litre Euro 6 engine.

A capability partner for the Australian Defence Force, Raytheon Australia recently purchased two rigid Shoguns and one prime mover unit. The trucks, which were prepared by RGM Maintenance in Darwin, are now in service.

New Daimler Trucks dealership Wilson Bolton, in Horsham, Victoria, has delivered its first truck to a local farmer. The trusted dealership now sells and supports Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso products.

Fuso will break through the 500hp barrier with a 13-litre Shogun set to arrive in Australia next month.

Australia Post continues to grow the electrification of its fleet with the addition of 20 Fuso eCanter trucks, with the first arrivals hitting the road in October.
